Captain Nikki Hughes and Lieutenant Corey Hughes were appointed to the Englewood Red Shield Center in June of 2013. They had served in this community a year prior during Lieutenant Corey’s training for the College for Officer’s Training. They are thrilled to return to serve in leadership capacity and lead the community to salvation.
Captain Nikki came through the Social Services program when she was young. Lieutenant Corey met The Salvation Army through the ARC program. Overcoming his addiction, he re-dedicated his life to full service with the Lord. Both met while working at The Salvation Army and married later on. After marriage, is when the Lord called upon their hearts to full time ministry.
The Hughes’ have four children, in which all of them are teenagers. Life keeps them busy.
They have a passion to love people and live a life where people see Jesus in them.
